The Career & Co-op Center has long been around to support students in their career development. You know us and love us. We’ve got your back on resumes, interview prep, job/internship searches, networking, and so much more. But we have a new friend in town, and they are ready to meet you. If you are passionate about non-profits, education, or government, this is going to be a resource you’ll want to take advantage of.
Introducing: TIE Hub!

The Transformative Internships and Engagement (TIE) Hub opened this summer on South campus and is ready for you to visit!
So what does the TIE Hub do?
This team specializes in helping students locate, choose, and secure high-quality internships in the community with nonprofits, schools, and government. They advise FAHSS students on their options to do internships for academic credit and work with these students to develop learning objectives for their internships. At TIE Hub, you can speak with someone about what community organizations might have experiences that are right for you and receive guidance to help you optimize your academic options that will prepare you for your career.
So what about Career Services?
Don’t worry, we’re still here for you in all the same ways as before. We still support students across all majors in their career development and searches for opportunities. We still host career fairs and bring employers from a wide range of disciplines. The difference? FAHSS students now have a dedicated resource in the TIE Hub to receive guidance around internships for credit and get connected with community organizations. Students can (and should!) access both of our offices for internship support.
We hope you use all the resources available to you.
