The Career & Co-op Center supports undergraduate students in developing career skills that they will use time and again over the course of their lives. This approach reflects the fact that most UMass Lowell graduates will work in several different jobs during their career journeys. Our overarching goal, then, while we help students pursue career opportunities in the present, is to teach them the skills they need to pursue opportunities on their own in the future.

Students can meet with an advisor for guidance in all areas of career development, including:

  • Discovering skills, values and interests
  • Exploring majors and career paths
  • Marketing themselves for roles of interest
  • Finding and gaining relevant experience
  • Taking steps toward achieving their career goals

Additionally, the Career & Co-op Center provides students with opportunities to network with industry representatives through career fairs, employer career panels, on-campus interviewing, and information sessions. Students can visit Handshake for a full list of upcoming events. Find advice and resources on this page to help you navigate your career journey.
