Bessie specializes in non-damaging press-on nails that prioritize natural nail health.
Position Overview:
Are you a brand geek with dreams of becoming a Creative Director? Dive into the world of beauty marketing and design with Bessie Press-On Nails. As a Creative Intern, unleash your creativity and contribute to our mission of redefining beauty through innovative press-on nail solutions. Work directly with the founders on a small team in New York City, and gain thorough education in digital marketing. By the end of the internship, you will learn how to start your own brand from scratch.
Past interns have spoke highly of Bessie’s program and all have landed prestigious positions at beauty conglomerate or other industries.
Responsibilities:
- Photoshoot Planning and Execution:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and plan photoshoot concepts for product launches, social media campaigns, and promotional materials.
- Assist in organizing photoshoot logistics, including location scouting, prop sourcing, and talent coordination.
- Provide on-set support during photoshoots to ensure the successful execution of creative vision.
- Collaboration with UGC Creators and Influencers:
- Research and identify potential UGC creators and influencers to collaborate with for brand promotion and product endorsements.
- Assist in outreach and communication with influencers to coordinate content creation opportunities and partnerships.
- Monitor and track influencer collaborations, including content delivery and performance metrics.
- Graphic Design:
- Support the design team in creating visually appealing graphic assets for social media, email campaigns, website, and marketing materials.
- Utilize design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and video editing software to develop eye-catching visuals that align with brand aesthetics and messaging.
- Photo and Video Editing:
- Assist in editing photos and videos to enhance visual storytelling and showcase our products in a compelling way.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging multimedia content for social media platforms and digital marketing campaigns.
- Creative Product Design:
- Contribute ideas and concepts for new nail designs and product innovations that resonate with our target audience.
- Assist in creating mock-ups and prototypes to visualize and refine product concepts.
Qualifications:
- Enthusiasm for the beauty industry and a keen interest in creative marketing and design.
- Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a degree program, preferably in Digital Design, Art Studio, Filmmaking, or other creative majors, but open to any creative individual with technical skills in camera, photo, and video editing.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Prior experience in photography, graphic design, social media marketing, or influencer outreach is preferred but not required.
- International students are welcome to apply. Bessie Press-On Nails offers sponsorship opportunities for Curricular Practical Training (CPT) or Optional Practical Training (OPT) as needed.
