Division of Insurance:
The primary mission of the Division of Insurance (DOI) is to monitor the solvency of its licensees to promote a healthy, responsive and willing marketplace for consumers who purchase insurance products.
Must be pursuing law degree.
You must be ready and willing to commit 5 days a week (37.5 hours a week for 10 weeks) or as per your supervisor and/or business need.
The internship program will run from approximately June 2025, through August 2025. Interviews will be held both in-person and/or virtually.
Salary compensation is $21.
What You’ll Do: As a legal intern, you’ll:
- Work on real-world legal assignments, gaining valuable on-the-job training.
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, letters, and reports.
- Assist with administrative hearings, board meetings, and document reviews.
- Collaborate with experienced legal professionals to develop technical knowledge.
- Build professional relationships and contribute to meaningful projects
- Preparing research memoranda, gathering information and preparing written reports, charts, and other written materials summarizing information.
