Requirements
- Advanced degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering (strict requirement due to our clients and USPTO patent exam eligibility)
- Eligibility for USPTO patent exam
- Basic understanding of how software executes and familiarity with network communication protocols.
- Strong expository writing skills
- If you do not have a CS or CompE degree, you must have experience or background that provides you with fundamental software knowledge
Expectations: Be trainable, professional, and eager to learn.
Initial Responsibilities: Gather information to understand inventions and then write descriptions so that others can understand. Learn patent laws and regulations.
Eventual Responsibilities: Conduct meetings with inventors. Write patent applications. Prosecute patent applications. Provide informed recommendations to clients for various aspects of patent portfolio management.
We will teach you the many aspects of proper patent preparation and prosecution and client counseling. We start you with a moderate production goal that allows you to learn instead of leveraging you for maximal profits.
