About Us:
For over 15 years, Granite Recovery Centers has been transforming the lives of alcohol and drug dependent adults from New England and well beyond. Our New Hampshire & Maine addiction treatment centers offer a unique blend of evidence-based clinical psychotherapies with a comprehensive 12-Step curriculum. Our addiction treatment programs feature a full continuum of care that includes medical detox, medication-assisted treatment, primary residential treatment, extended care, sober living, and intensive outpatient counseling. Our success is evidenced by our active, growing alumni community, each of whom will tell you that what we do, along with the skills we provide, saved their lives – and continues to do so.

Position Overview:
As a Human Resources Summer Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and performance management. You will work closely with HR professionals, providing support for day-to-day operations while contributing to key projects that impact the organization’s workforce.

**This can be a part-time or full-time internship**

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing materials and facilitating training sessions.
  • Assist in organizing employee engagement initiatives and company events.
  • Help maintain employee records and update HR databases.
  • Conduct research on HR best practices and industry trends.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in Human Resources and talent management.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • A positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.
