Homeyer Consulting Services, Inc., the nation’s largest independent industrial water consulting laboratory, has an opening for an Area Manager to work out of our offices (locations in Tewksbury, MA or Jupiter, FL). We consult to over 6,500 clients worldwide, and we are hoping to add an Area Manager to our field consulting team. Therefore, this individual would be required to travel (about 25-50%) for sample collections and for client meetings. All travel is company-paid and will mostly be local, in state travel.
Our company focuses on HVAC and process-related (chemically treated) waters. We analyze the water to understand what chemicals are present and in what capacity, and also to understand how that water interacts with the system’s metallurgy. Our focus is to protect our clients’ water-based HVAC equipment from deposition, corrosion, and biological fouling.
Science or engineering background is preferred.
The individual should be dynamic, well spoken, have excellent writing skills require little supervision, be able to multitask, and have good planning skills. This individual should be a personable and friendly professional who is organized, computer literate and detail oriented. Occasional weekend work may be required. This position requires at least 50% travel.
