The Warwick School District is seeking applicants for a paid, full-year School Psychology Graduate Intern for the 2025-2026 school year. The intern will receive an anticipated stipend of $25,000 (assuming Warwick is awarded the PHEAA PA HELPS grant/PaTTAN funding). This internship opportunity will follow the Warwick School District calendar for the 2025-2026 school year and will provide interns with their required 1200 clock hours. Applicants for this internship should have completed the requisite coursework for a master’s or doctoral level degree prior to their internship year and should be pursuing school psychologist certification. Effective oral and written communication skills and effective use of technology are required.

The Warwick School District is proud to offer a comprehensive service delivery model for school psychological services. Warwick has at least one full-time school psychologist assigned to each building in the district, each of whom are integral parts of building-level and district-wide supports and planning. This internship is designed to allow graduate school psychology interns the ability to gain experience working with students in grades PK-12, and to tailor the internship experience to the intern’s areas of interest while providing a well-rounded experience of school psychological services.

Components of the internship will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Complete comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, under supervision, for School- Age Youth (including students transitioning from Early Intervention Services)
  • Provide counseling as a related service (individual and small group)
  • Consult with school teams and individual teachers to support all learners
  • Assess mental health and behavioral needs, alongside supervisor
  • Consult with and support building level teams and student special programs throughout the district (Autistic Support, Emotional Support, Occupational Readiness Skills, Life Skills, Multiple Disabilities Support, Warwick Alternative Learning Center)
  • Enhance staff understanding and responsiveness to diverse cultures and backgrounds
  • Collaborate with families and outside agencies to support student learning
  • Gather and utilize data to inform learning and behavioral health initiatives at the district and building levels (including data from RtII/MTSS models across the district)
  • Assist teams in ensuring fidelity of instructional, intervention, and assessment practices

Medical examination, tuberculin test, federal and state criminal record checks and child abuse history clearance are required prior to employment.

Individuals who are interested in applying for this position should send a resume and cover letter to hr@warwicksd.org.
