Career Programming Grant
The Career & Co-op Center is making available grants of $250 to support career-related programming by university recognized student groups. Career-related programming entails events that help students learn about career paths, build job search skills, and make connections that may impact their career decisions and success. Examples of career-related programming include, but are not limited to:
- Speakers talking about their career, profession, company, and/or job opportunities.
- Site visits to companies and organizations with a focus on learning about a company, an industry, or job opportunities.
- Speakers talking about the job search process.
- Speakers talking about the workplace, such as workplace culture or transitioning to the workplace.
- Speakers talking about career exploration.
To receive a grant, student groups must submit a proposal (below). Events must be submitted and approved in Engage in order to access this grant. The event will be added to the career programming calendar. Following the event, a student attendee list must be submitted to the Career & Co-op Center. The grant may be used towards expenses such as catering, speaker gifts, and transportation.
Student groups may receive up to three grants within one academic year.
