Susan has always been interested in science; however, she did not migrate into the pharmaceuticals field until after college. She says that pharmacy is very rewarding and challenges those who are interested to not shy away because of the daunting sciences surrounding it. Susan states that pharmacy is a great career to enter as one can obtain positions in hospitals, over the counter medicine, drug information, and many more areas. She says pharmacists will be in demand in the future as we continue to discover new understanding and advances in medicine.

>> I love the flexibility that I have working for myself, the flexibility that I have, I can take it with me if I go somewhere. I can work around my own private life schedule and so the flexibility working for myself in this type of job I really like that. That's what I love. The challenges are working for myself, working alone. I miss, I've had pharmacy careers where I've worked in pharmacies and hospitals, I've worked with other people. I worked in drug information where I worked in an office, I miss that daily interaction with people for sure. It is, I tend to do a lot of the same things over and over again so sometimes it's very interesting but sometimes I get assignments where it gets a little tiresome me doing the same thing over and over again so those are my two main challenges I would say.
