Office Manager, Office of the Chief Executive Officer, Deloitte

>> My name is Scott Brenner. I work for Deloitte in the Office of the CEO. So the Office of the CEO is the team that directly supports Deloitte's U.S. CEO Joe Echevarria. It's made up of myself and five other team members and we pretty much do everything and anything that the CEO needs to keep him moving throughout the day and keep him prepared. Responsibilities range from developing briefings for client meetings that he has, meeting with other CEOs that we do business with, to weekly economic briefings, keeping him up to date on what's going on with the economy, to preparing all of his presentations that he gives for his external speak engagements and even internal speak engagements of the partners of Deloitte. Yeah, a very busy day would be, well, if we have one of our quarterly, we call them channel one live performances, where it's pretty much a web conference call with the CEO, the CFO and all of the partners of Deloitte and he gives about a half an hour presentation or so. Just kind of the state of the firm every quarter, open the line open for questions. We're probably editing that deck up until minutes before the meeting actually starts. Meanwhile, I'm sure there's lots of emails being traded back and forth about maybe a client meeting that he'll have the next which I'm helping him prepare a briefing for, get him up to speed on the executive that he's meeting with. At the same time, there could be a whole host of other things going on. But those particularly chaotic days are always when that meeting always happens the day of, because that's probably the first time he's really focused on the deck for that day and we're making changes up to the last minute.
