Alumni are important to us and we welcome you to utilize resources that the Career & Co-op Center has to offer. Our website contains many resources that may be of assistance to you. Additionally, alumni can meet with career advising staff. To schedule a meeting with an advisor, please call our office at 978-934-2355.

Please note that if the university closes for inclement weather, advising appointments are cancelled.

Drop-in career advising

Open to current students and alumni who graduated in the last 12 months, drop-in advising consists of 15-minute consultations on a first-come, first-serve basis. Drop-ins provide the most flexible access to support regarding:

  • Resume, CV, and cover letter reviews*
  • Quick questions about interviewing, job searching, or navigating a career fair

* Please bring a printed resume, CV, or cover letter to in-person drop-ins and be prepared to share your screen during virtual drop-ins.

  • Graduate school planning
  • Interview preparation
  • Job or internship search strategies
  • Networking guidance
  • Salary negotiation

Practice interviews can also be scheduled.

Resume, CV, and cover letter support is offered on a drop-in basis. Please see the drop-in section above for times.

Note: In order to access appointment scheduling, students will first need to log in to their UML account using Single Sign-on (SSO) by clicking “Log In” at the top right-hand corner of this page.

Additionally, to ensure appointment availability for as many students as possible, students should have no more than two currently scheduled appointments at any point in time. We reserve the right to cancel appointments for any student who exceeds this limit.

Please note that both drop-in and scheduled career advising options are cancelled when the university closes.

Drop-in assistance is an excellent starting point for quick questions about the co-op program or job search. Can’t find a time to meet with your co-op advisor? Try a drop-in to get pointed in the right direction. Assistance is provided on a first-come, first-served basis during 15-minute consultations with a Co-op Program Assistant.
